Christian Bachinger

Christian Bachinger is already the third generation at the Spanish Riding School. Both his grandfather and his father Ernst Bachinger, an internationally acclaimed judge and trainer spent their professional lives at the world’s oldest riding academy. Christian Bachinger’s career began in 1981 at the age of 16 and in November 1991 he was promoted to the rank of rider with his stallion Conversano Nima. In his free time he still works closely with his father in the family training yard. “I was born into a family of horse people and probably sat in a saddle before I could even walk. Horses have always played a central role in my life and I am lucky to have been able to turn my hobby into my profession”.
