Retirement

After a successful career performing and being on tour, the stallions can look forward to their retirement as a breeding stallion going to visit the mares at Piber, and being turned out in pastures in Heldenburg. The stallion in retirement is no longer ridden, but he is still cared for in exactly the same way as the younger stallions, they spend their days grazing, and relaxing, and having a nice roll in the sand paddocks.

Famous Retired Stallions

Siglavy Raluca I and Conversano Amata I have now been retired from their performing lives. Over a gradual period of time their work was gradually reduced, and their free time increased, until the point were they were no longer worked or ridden. Their daily routine now consists of being fed, groomed, grazing, rolling, rolling, (more rolling), being fed, generally being pampered and loved.
